Sanila's shadow magic

Just a scene from a AD&D campaign called Making Myth a couple of weeks ago, where half the party actually did DIE from a really powerful mage's 'shadow magic'.

They got better though, thanks to the mercy of Hesed (god of mercy).


Top left: Roland, a human paladin of the Goddess of Wisdom (Sophia). He had a critical failure at some point in the battle which had his armour fall off. His horse with no name is standing behind him looking in from the door of the tent. The joke is that the horse does more damage in battle than Roland.

Far Bottom left: Veri, a human Blue Disciple mage (my character). She spent the first half of the battle annoying Sanila (mage in the center). So Sanila told her to shut up and paralysed her.

Bottom left: Nub Nub, a kobold cleric of Hesed (god of Mercy). Here he is being struck down dead by Sanila.

Middle: Sanila. Evil mage who in this picture is kicking everyone's ass.

Behind Sanila: Smith, a human fighter who is reknown for being average. He'd been successfully meleeing Sanila but then she death magic'd him.

Bottom middle: Melvin, an elven ranger. The superior tracker. He kept his head and revived everyone with potions.

Bottom right: Vargas, a centaur ranger. The leader of the party, was elected democratically.

Far right: Utuk, a human cleric of Qodesh (God of Holiness). He's on a quest with Vargas to rid the world of Shadow Magic. Melvin's adopted brother.

Top right: Kage, a human kensai who has been polymorphed into an Eagle.
